Research Interest: Epiphytic microbial colonization, plant secondary metabolites, plant chemical and structural defense, allelopathy, analysis of vegetation, medicinal plants and traditional medical practice.

· The phyllosphere of perennial species in a Mediterranean ecosystem as a habitat for epiphytic microbes. Funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, Ministry of Development, Republic of Greece (01 ED 317) (PI as a Ph. D. candidate with Prof. Dr. D. Vokou as advisor).
