Rastriya Vanaspati Diwas and Golden Jubilee Anniversary of DPR

The Department of Plant Resources, Ministry of Forests & Soil Conservation is celebrating its “50th Anniversary” as well as the “National Plant Resource Day” on April 11, 2010 (Chaitra 29, 2066). The program will be inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Rastriya Vanaspati Puraskar (National Botanical Award) will be awarded to one of the Veteran Botanists of Nepal in that occasion.
Of the several activities, exhibition of Plants and Plant products will be displayed amidst series of functions. The CDB TU is also participating in the exhibition event.
